160 artworks featuring historic and contemporary comic art and illustrations will be displayed at this sale.
The auction will have a strong start with the original cover of
Grand Pouvoir du Chninkel by Grzegorz Rosinski, a mythical piece which was stolen and then returned to its creator, and is estimated at 70 000 to 80 000 euros. It will be followed by magnificent original artworks from
Thorgal that may be found in major comic book albums of this famous series created with Jean Van Hamme:

Au-delà des ombres,
Louve.
The sale will continue with a selection of artworks by the talented artist Ralph Meyer, whose pieces were gathered in a special catalog. Twenty three pieces will be displayed, including original artworks and illustrations from his best-seller
Undertaker (scriptwriter Xavier Dorison).
The second catalog will be dedicated to the Italian masters of eroticism and will contain twenty eight historic pieces, including the original artworks from iconic albums by Milo Manara (
Le Déclic,
El Gaucho,
Un été indien,
Gulliveriana,
Le Parfum de l'invisible…), by Crepax and Serpieri (
Druuna).
Last, the auction will present the great masters of comic art and illustration. Among others, it will feature a superb artwork of
Tintin by Hergé, which is based on the comic art album
