PLESSIX MICHEL PLESSIX LE VENT DANS LES SABLES L'Invitation au voyage (T.1), Delcourt 2005 Original plate no. 4 accompanied by its coloring. Graphite and India ink on paper 32 × 48 cm (12.6 × 18.9 in.) Watercolor on paper 24.5 × 31.6 cm (9.64 × 12.44 in.) Rat walks and observes the beginnings of autumn. With its singular layout, the plate takes on the feel of a stroll. The characters appear to be just passing through, with the drawing focusing on trees, bushes and hedges. Pleasure for the senses... the sight, the smell of peat and woods, the cut wheat. The coloring perfectly captures all the nuances of nature and the changing seasons.
