Hermann's meeting with designer and colorist Fraymond, who was responsible for the colors in Jeremiah Vol. 3, gave rise to a new grammar of storytelling through color. This is illustrated on this page, the first in the Alex album. The light saturates the first image, making it almost abstract: an indistinct shape is moving forward, not immediately perceived as a danger. As it approaches, however, threatening elements become apparent: machine guns loom ever larger. Where is this silent, belligerent troop heading? Alex, her family and her monkeys. And they don't suspect a thing... In this album, the colors will be provided by Croatian artist Željko Pahek.
