This is a key sequence in La Complainte des moes perdues, as Sioban is led by the White Wolf's army of the dead to the very spot where her father was killed. She is about to enter into communication with him and learn not only the circumstances of his death, but also how she can avenge the honor of the Sudenne. It's a scene of great graphic simplicity, with Rosinski's skillful tempo-sketching perfectly suggesting the landscape of the moors, cloaked in mist and mystery. The last line of dialogue written by Jean Dufaux on this page, a scriptwriter with a keen interest in spirituality, is a quotation from Christ on Golgotha, taken from the Gospels.
