Jeannot pilote de course: this is the title of a four-page episode - as much a Hollywood blockbuster as the other episodes, which take place on a single page - of which the present plate is the denouement. "A blockbuster indeed! And what a pleasure it is to finally have several pages to tell a story! But perhaps it's worth pointing out that this episode takes place over four pages at the request of Moto Journal, which wanted a long story for a special vacation issue. And it was a godsend, because I'd been wanting to develop my characters in the context of an official competition for a long time. But not on a racetrack. My zigotos are pure deceivers, not sportsmen, so I opted for a hill-climb (a timed event contested on a winding, uphill stretch of road). There, yes, they'd be in their element, my dingos. And to top it all off, to make the story as authentic as possible, my experience as a failed racer would finally come in handy."
